"Support got my checkout sorted quickly"
I was setting up a checkout page for a small project I’m running with a friend, and for some reason my changes just wouldn’t save properly. I kept thinking I was missing something obvious, but after trying a few times I was stuck.

I reached out to ThriveCart support, and they got back to me faster than I expected. What I appreciated most was that it didn’t feel like a canned reply, the support person clearly read what I wrote, asked one simple question, and then pointed me right to the setting I needed to change.

It was fixed the same day, which was a huge relief because I was trying to get everything ready before sharing the page with people I know. Really refreshing to deal with support that actually helps instead of just sending copy-paste instructions.

"I’m getting tired of waiting for actual..."
I’m getting tired of waiting for actual updates. It feels like the same issue keeps happening over and over, barely anything changes while everything else seems to be moving forward.

"Dealing with the subscription was way more annoying than it should’ve been"
I thought managing my subscription would be simple, but nope. I kept clicking around thinking, “Okay, surely the option is here somewhere,” and it just wasn’t clear at all. Then I had to reach out to support, and the wait made it even more frustrating. By the end I was just thinking, “Why is this such a hassle?” Definitely not a great experience.

"Course access was smooth"
Getting into the course was easy, which is all I really needed. I didn’t have to mess around trying to figure out where things were, and the delivery worked fine. Nothing complicated, just opened it up and got started. So yeah, straightforward experience overall.

"Lifetime deal didn’t really feel like one"
I bought the lifetime deal thinking I was covered, but later on it still felt like I was being nickel-and-dimed for things I expected to be included. When I raised concerns, it felt like they brushed me off instead of really listening. Disappointing experience overall.

I expected the onboarding to be a whole thing, but it was quick. I had my checkout up and running without much hassle. Part of me still wants to complain because setup usually stresses me out, but in this case there really wasn’t much to complain about

I bought a digital product and the delivery email came in quickly. The download link worked without any issues, so that was easy. The only thing is I had to check my spam folder first, but once I found it, everything was good.

"Not sure it’s the best fit for physical products"
I tried using this for physical products, but I wasn’t really impressed. Support took a while to get back to me, and it made me question the overall quality a bit. It might work better for other use cases, but for what I needed, it didn’t feel great.

"Easy to make my checkout look right"
I’ve been using ThriveCart mainly for the checkout page customization, and it’s been really useful. I was able to move things around, change the colors, add my logo, and make the whole checkout match my site without having to touch any code.

A few of the settings took me a little time to find at first, but nothing too frustrating. Once I figured out where everything was, it was straightforward, and my checkout looks much better now

"The upsells just confused me"
I thought setting up the upsells and downsells would be straightforward, but it ended up being way more confusing than I expected. Some pages didn’t connect the way I thought they would, and I spent hours testing the flow just trying to figure out what was going wrong. I reached out to support, but the replies felt slow and didn’t really clear things up for me

"Seems safe so far, I think"
I’ve used the payments a few times now, or maybe it was just twice last month and once before that—I can’t totally remember, but everything went through fine and I didn’t notice anything sketchy. Still, I wish they made the security details a bit more obvious. I do feel mostly okay using it, I’m just not at the point where I fully trust it yet.

I’ve used ThriveCart for a few launches now, and overall it’s been solid. The checkout pages load quickly, and I did notice a small improvement in conversions compared to what I was using before. The simple order bump feature probably helped the most, which makes sense—less friction usually means a few more people finish buying.
That said, it wasn’t a massive game-changer for me. Editing the pages can feel a little clunky, and the testing options are more limited than I’d like. It does the job and works reliably enough, but if you’re expecting a huge conversion boost right out of the box, I’d keep expectations realistic

It does the job for basic funnels, and I’ve been able to get things running fine. But editing the steps can get a little confusing at times, like I have to click around more than I expected :/ Overall useful, just not the smoothest setup experience...

"More expensive than I expected for my needs"
thrivecart does what it’s supposed to do, but i expected to get a bit more value for the price. I’m only using a few of the basic features, so paying that much upfront felt hard to justify. I can see how it might be worth it if you’re running a bigger business or using all the tools, but for my smaller setup, it feels like more than I really need.

"Works fine, but the layout feels clunky and takes some getting used to"
I’ve been using ThriveCart and, to be fair, it does what it’s supposed to do for the most part. The actual checkout and setup features work, so it’s not like the platform is unusable or anything like that. My main issue is just with how the interface feels when you’re trying to move around and get things done. The layout seems a bit dated, and there are quite a few times where I find myself clicking around longer than I expected because a menu or setting isn’t where I naturally thought it would be. Setting up pages can also feel more involved than it needs to be, with extra steps and clicks that make the process feel slower. If you’ve used it for a while, you can probably get used to it, but as someone coming in fresh, it feels a little clunky and confusing. I really think a cleaner dashboard and a more intuitive layout would make the whole experience a lot better.

I ran into a bug and wasn’t totally sure if it was something on my end or not, but support looked into it and fixed it quickly. Everything seems to be working fine now, so I’m happy with how it turned out.
